A2 Hannover – Dortmund: to the Herford/Bad Salzuflen exit, B239 towards Herford, exit Zentrum, left onto Bielefelder Straße, after 1 km left onto Wittekindstraße, straight on Bahnhofstraße, and Bahnhofsplatz, right onto Fürstenaustraße, roundabout 2nd exit Goebenstraße

A30 Osnabrück – Bad Oeynhausen: to the Hiddenhausen exit, follow towards Herford, Bünder Straße, after 5 km turn left, then turn right onto Goebenstraße

By train

Herford is an IC/ICE train station. The walk to the museum takes only about 3 minutes: from the station forecourt, turn left and follow the main road (Bahnhofstrasse, Fürstenaustrasse, Goebenstrasse) for 300 m.
